The apartment had everything you would need while on holiday. The front door is locked and unmanned from 10 pm so don't forget to take your card to swipe it open. The lower apartment has access to the back patio and you have your own key, but, there is a high metal gate you need to access to get to the back yard door and this is only guaranteed to be open from 9 am to 5 pm. If locked, you need to walk the length of the street to access the back alley which has no gate, then walk back down to your hotel. The owners have limited English but are very friendly and very helpful. The hotel sign says only 'The Garden Suites', so don't be looking for The Winter Garden Suites as there is no 'winter' in the name which threw me and I went round in circles looking for it! I only stayed overnight as I'd booked to see a show but it was very quiet and I never heard noises from above so I got a great night's sleep and I didn't even use my earplugs! The front rooms have a view of the tower. It's great if you're looking for a cheap and cheerful holiday, and I like budget holidays! All the breakfast foods are at reception, so you pick what you want and take it back to your room.

Excellent location next to Winter Gardens just a few mins walk to promenade and main attractions. Property extremely clean and fresh smelling. Rooms very spacious. We booked two rooms. One a disabled apartment which was spot on with everything you needed and more. Deluxe family room was amazing. Grandkids love the bus bunk beds. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was available to all if you wanted it. Cereals, waffles, croissants, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice, water. We arrived at 10am and were allowed to leave our luggage while we went and had some family fun. Went back for check in time and everything was ready for us. We also checked out on the morning at 10am and they were kind enough to let us leave our luggage in reception room while we had a day at Blackpool Zoo. Hostess was second to none. Very welcoming, friendly and went out of her way to make sure you wanted for nothing A lovely friendly place to stay We will be back Thank you so much.

We stayed here for one night in the deluxe room, this room was fantastic value for money and in a great location, added bonus was this hotel was dog friendly, so for an extra £10 the whole family could go. I’ve stayed in many places in Blackpool and this by far beats the rest, it’s in a perfect location from the front, literally straight opposite the winter gardens, 2 minutes walk to houndhill shopping centre! Room was clean and had everything you needed, even a little kitchen with an oven kettle microwave. staff were friendly and polite and great with the kids, they offered breakfast on a morning which consisted of cereals, toast etc, you could either sit and eat it there or you could grab and go! We’d 100% stay here again!

I contacted the property a few days before staying if i could get a room on the ground floor and they gave me room number 1 at the back. It was really comfortable great location for everything, it was really nice of them to allow me to check in early as i contacted them to say i would be arriving after 1pm and they said it was fine. I like to say that the receptionist was really friendly and helpful as anytime i needed fresh towels she got them for me and asked if i needed anything else. I've stayed at the property before as it's value for money which was the reason that i came back. If you're looking for a cosy place I'd recommend it and it's quiet.

I requested the room with a bath, this is on the top floor, just for reference. Not a problem for me though. It has been mentioned in another review that this room is very small. Around the bed area maybe, but there is a large space in front of the bathroom, plenty of space to get ready in. Continental breakfast included- cerials, bread, fruit, waffles, croissants, jams and marmalade. Available 24 hours a day! The staff were very friendly and the whole place was very clean and smelt lovely. Location was excellent, I was watching a show at the grand theatre and was only a 2 min walk away.
